STRUCTURE

Regionally, all the seven countries are governed by a Board of Trustees. The Regional Office has a Regional Coordinator who has overall responsibility for the administration of the organization. She is assisted by a Deputy Regional Coordinator whose focus is on Action Programmes and Communication.

At the national level each country has a National Coordinator who has overall responsibility for WLSA activities in a country. There are in addition three professional staff, the Full-Time Research Associate, the Programme Officer - Legal Education and Training and the Programme Officer Legal Aid Services. There are also Part-Time Research Associates.

WLSA-Zambia is also hosting a project in which other NGOs and Government departments are partners. This is the Justice for Widows and Orphans Project.
