This is one of the
activities done. It involves workshops and seminars with a variety
of groups. The purpose is to educate, share information, disseminate
research findings and train participants in various fields.
Workshops with Zambia
Police Victim Support Unit and other Police Officers as well as
Local Court Justices and Magistrates have been held in the past.
WLSA also trains on invitation with church groups, employers and
community based organisations.
Subjects
have included gender sensitisation, legal rights training.
The workshops are held in both rural and urban
settings. This is part of the legal education and training
activities. Paralegal training is also done.
